As I stood at Evelyn's bedside staring at the myriad of machines, lines and sensors, machines beeping in the background, my eyes focused on Evelyn's nametag. The letters EVEL juxtaposed, instantly images of my life before knowing Jesus flashed before my eyes. My hero in those days was Evel Knievel. Yes, I know a man who had crashed more landings than he actually had made and broken more bones than the average stunt man, is not the type that should be idolized. Nevertheless my buddy Jamie and I thought he was the greatest. We often discussed stunts we would try when we got back to the states. In Kuwait we couldn't get our hands on motorcycles so we spent some of our down time jumping bicycles. We wore out motorcycle review magazines and saved our money to buy the latest machine on the market.
Thank God that there is a better way! At the height of our attempts to jump our way into the heavens, God not only changed my language, He tore down my Tower of Babel! Having experienced life without Jesus, I can tell you that there is nothing better than being a born again Christian! In the midst of trials He is there to comfort and encourage! When you don't know which way to turn, he can give you direction! If you don't know Jesus, don't hesitate to get to know Him! Thanks for bearing with me as I remember what God has done in my life!
Hasta La Vista Evel!

I just want everyone to know how amazing this couple really is. Chris has been strong and supportive, Stephanie has been faithful. I couldn't be more proud of them. I love them so much for being who they are, God must have big plans for their lives to prepare them in this way. Please say a prayer for both of them everyday!
